Hello the photo below is the parasitic choke I made. It works very well. I want to give thanks to  K9AAW  for this really good choke idea. The only thing I would add to this is that you do not want to tear open an alkaline battery as they do not have the carbon rod, however a regular D cell battery does and it makes a great choke.
